记念9-11是否让我们因此而变得更有智慧

Twenty years after 9-11, we still remember, but has remembering an event made us wiser because of it?

If the building collapsed due to poor design/construction, and you ask the architect and the contractor to build a newer one, did you learn the lesson, or honor the memories of those departed?

If a battalion suffered serious loss due to the commander’s incompetence or malfeasance, and he get promoted to command the division, would that have honored the brave soldiers’ sacrifice?

So as we remember 9-11, are we asking the right question, or avoiding the elephant in the room?

Reposting this song, not because my voice is all that great, but because even a flat voice with missing tunes still should roar with the message.

It’s turning point, choose this day, are we still the home of the brave?

9-11恐怖袭击发生20年后，我们仍然记得那一天发生的一切，但记念是否让我们因此而变得更有智慧？

如果建筑物因设计/施工不当而倒塌，你却要求该建筑师和承包商建造一栋更高大的大楼，别人不会说，你真能饶恕，只该问，您脑子被驴踢了还是进水了？

如果一个营由于指挥官的无能或渎职而遭受惨败，而他却被提拔为师长，甚至在纪念日上发表长官讲话，这是否尊重了勇敢士兵的牺牲？

因此，当我们纪念9-11时，我们问自己，我们是在问正确的问题吗，还是在回避房间里的大象？

再次转载这首歌，并不是因为我的填词有多好，而是因为即使是一支毫无文彩的笔，也应该为这个信息而咆哮。

要行动，要呼唤，国贼要审判！要发声，要呐喊，公义回政坛！
